This site displays the photography of Mark Tomlinson.
Mark takes photographs using various digital and analogue technologies. In the darkroom he mainly prints using lith techniques which produce unique images. Digitally he uses various equipment such Fuji X series and Sony full frame cameras. For digital processing he uses Capture One and On1, and prints with an Epson 3880 and Epson 7800 printer.
The majority of his work is in black and white. Street photography has been a serious interest and he has taught postgraduate students Visual Methods as part of the Master's degree in Social Research at the University of Sheffield in England. He is currently designing an undergraduate course on the sociology of photography from a theoretical and practical point of view.
